Going Granny

Going granny at the moment especially with all the granny square crocheting.

I keep planning on returning to my scrapbooking, but I am just not feeling it at the moment. I am sure it will come just not as soon as I planned.

Just love it

After waiting for my yarn to arrive, I have finally finished my spiral blanket. Shame though, I don't have any little girls to give it to, but I just love the colours.

I think this is one of many like this, I just love the spiral design.

Busy Month

Well this months ha been an exciting one. I am off my feet for a few days seeing I was admitted to hospital for the stupidest thing ever. I managed to get my darning needle snapped off in my foot, and I had to have surgery to get it out. I will be adding a few pages I have started but not finished soon.

My First Lot Of Cards

I am not a huge card maker at all, but I thought I would give it a go. Here are the 3 creations I came up with.

Not much I know, but it's a good start I think. I may end up with a massive pile of these and not enough people to hand them out

Peek A Boo

I just love this photo of my son, and  until now I was never able to find the right paper to be able to scrap it. This collection just seem to fit it perfect. I a sort of happy with the results, but may raise the peek a boo title away from the photo just a little.

Starlight, Starbright

Well I think I spoke a little soon about a blockage, I done this last night while I sat with a friend who was scrappin at my house.

Not sure that I am happy with the outcome just as yet, think it may need a little tweaking. For this sketch I decided not to use the small photo, there just didn't seem the room to fit it in.

Another Fun Sketch Completed

Click Here To See The Fun Sketches Available

At the moment I am just enjoying taking my time to finish a layout. I think I am in the beginning of a blockage.

For this page I used my nappy wipe technique for the alpha. I needed to see that it worked. The alpha dies I used were from Bosskut and when I ran them through my machine I had to roll them a few times to make sure it went through both the nappy wipe and the jac paper. I think they came out fantastic, but that is just me.

The photo in this LO is one of my absolute favorites, every thing about it I just love.

The Papers for this LO are available at my ebay store.

Another Tutorial

Here is a tutorial I have made on making flourishes out of nappy wipes. It is something that I enjoy making.

My First Tutorial Video

I started creating embellishments out of tin foil, and I just love how they look. I made the tutorial basically to see what it came out like, and to share how I did them.

I also made these round ones for a swap I am participating in at the moment at Scrapbooking Top 50.

Try them, they look great on pages and cards, I have just made some out of the Tim Holtz Elegant Flourish, they look fantastic.

Lovin The Queen Bee

This is a range I just got for my ebay store, and I am just in love with it.

I took this photo last week, while my youngest son was extremely unwell. Every time I looked for him, he was in the arms of his dad.

I have decided not to add journalling to this page, or I may add it later. I just liked it the way it was.

You can add your creations HERE.

XOXO No 7 and Sketchy Thursday Quest DT Challenge

Well this is a two for one layout, created t for XOXO challenge, and then realized that it looked like the Sketchy Thursday's June Challenge. WooHoo I thought will see how I go.

For the XOXO scraplift challenge, I have chosen Jeanette Almgren's LO. I couldn't do it as empty, I like my pages filled with colour, but this is how I interpreted it.
