Another Challenge Completed

Well I am on a roll at the moment, I can't seem to stop with the challenges.

This is a page on my youngest son, who just loves his bear. He only goes near him when he is in bed, and only if we play the "where oh where is Mr Bear" game.

I used a few simple techniques when putting this together, but I am not set on the LO yet. I think it needs something, but I am not quite sure what it is yet. I know it will come to me eventually.

Stuck On U Sketches Button Challenge

I decided to enter this challenge because I am a lover of buttons. I think they are fantastic on any page (mmm maybe not every, but most).

This page is of my son pretending to drive my car, while stealing my oakies. I cracked up laughing when he said "I am Mr Cool". It was the funniest thing he had said for a while. In return told him that in his dreams he was Mr Cool. So I thought it would be a great title.

Creative Scrappers Sketch #103

Doing this sketch took me about a week, not in actually putting it together but finding the right photo and paper to suit it. I tried 3 different sets, but nothing seemed to work for it. I finally found what I needed after I walked away another project.

I love the aquarium, I love everything about it. The title was chosen because my eldest son sat at the tanks constantly saying "here fishy fishy" and that just seemed to fit with the theme.

Sketchy Thursdays 5.13 Challenge

This is my interpretation of this sketch. I am not used to using so many photos on one layout, but I really don't mind how they are turning out. I was attracted to the paper colours and I have tried to get them to work for a few other challenges, but for some reason the designs weren't working for me.
This challenge just seem to suit the papers (for me anyways). The photos are of my youngest son playing on a spinner in our local park. He started to cry when a young girl wanted to have a go. It was so cute.

Sweet 'n' Simple

This was an easy layout for me, the hardest part was the length of time it took me to do the stitching around the edge. It was worth it though, I just love fluffy stuff on a page.

I chose a photo of my son collecting strawberries a few years ago, he loved this day so much, and even though the paper is a little girlie I really thought it suited this.

Another May Challenge

Well my entry for this challenge is of my eldest son who just loves taking photos like me. We always say to  him "monkey see, monkey do" so I thought it would be a great title for this page.

I used hessian for the title font, just for something different. If you use it for alphas though it is a fraying material and needs to be handled carefully. I used jack paper on one side and cut the lettering out with the cuttlebug.

Local Challenge

I love doing challenges even if I don't hand them in.

Where I live there is a local shop that provides kits as a challenge every month. There are simple rules to follow.
- You can only use the papers and embellishments provided.
- You can use any type of letting you choose for the title and journals.
- You can use stamps, glimmermist, dimensional magic, glitter pens/glues etc.
- You must have the word provided in the kit on the page

Here is one of my takes on the January challenge.

Sketchy Thursdays 5.6 Challenge

Here is my version of this challenge

I took these photos last week of my kids getting really messy finger painting in the drive. It was such a good day, and when I saw this challenge it inspired me to use a paper set that I have been pondering on how to use.

It was such a colourful day, that I needed to express that with my entry.

Sketchy Thursdays 4.29 Challenge

This was my take for this sketch...I didn't hand it in though.

This photo of me was taken when I was pregnant with my now 7 year old (almost 8). I don't have very many photo's of me from that time in my life, and I had this taken for my partner, so I thought the title was suited for this page.
