Mmmm Spinning

I brought a spinning wheel and I must say it's sooo hard for me. I have never even contemplated getting one until now, and I received a bag of raw uncleaned sheep's wool with it. Seeing that is all I have had to play with I spend the better part of a day cleaning the wool getting it ready for spinning. I have a few rovings on the way, so I think I will keep playing until they arrive.

Here is my first attempt at spinning raw cleaned wool...grrrrrr I need so much more practice.

I knitted the homemade yarn up and I really really like how it turned out.

Getting There Slowly

Well I haven't scrapped for a while, but I am slowly feeling the urge to create and I have started purchasing paper (which I don't need).

I have been playing around with fiber arts at the moment which is so much fun.

Dormant Days

Well I have finally finished a page, now I just need to photograph it which I will do tomorrow.

I have just started doing card tutorials through YouTube for my stampin up class customers. However it is not as simple as it looks, and it's a little more time consuming than I expected. I also find that the timing needs to be right having 2 children in the house, makes it even more complicated.

I have a scrappin and stampin night every Moday at my house, so that will motivate me to get some pages finished. Now I just need something to motivate me in photographing them :)

Rain Rain Go Away

As soon as the sky clears and I get a decent day, I will upload a few pages and cards that I have made recently. Hopefully it shouldn't be long though, I have been playing around with more cards at the moment than pages, but a change is not a bad thing.

I have also just started a new crocheting blanket, so far so nice :)

There are a few photo's that I knew I wanted to scrap, but either didn't get around to it or didn't have the time. I find that finding time to scrap at the moment is getting smaller and smaller. The want it there but that just doesn't cut it in my world.
