XOXO Scraplifting Challenge Pt 3

This page took me a little longer to complete than I gave it credit for. I started it around 8.30pm last night and before I know it it was 12.50am, I thought I was feeling tired, but I thought it was because I was stitching and when i stitch a lot I get tired or bored either way it has the same effect on me.

Well anyhow here is another entry for the XOXO scraplift challenge.

This is my scraplift of Debbie Jewell's LO.

XOXO and Creative Prompts Challenges

I decided to do a two for one page last night. I love to use recycled  materials, so I wanted to enter the Be Green challenge at Creative Prompts. It was also convenient to make it a XOXO scraplift challenge as well.

This is my scraplift of Tina Phillip's LO, with a recycled box for the circle embellishments and title.

This was when My eldest son got his new bike from santa in 2008, it was the rush to get on it and speed off. The only problem was he has always had a lot of trouble moving the pedals, and he dribbled down the driveway a little slower than expected.

XOXO Scraplifting Challenge Pt 2

I was so busy last night, but I had my mojo working and got a few pages finished. Here is another entry for the XOXO scraplift challenge.

This is my scraplift of Monica Brady's LO.

It is the first photo of my youngest with a smile so bright he showed some teeth. I thought this was the best I had ever taken just for that reason. He has the most beautiful smile, and lucky for me he shows it 90% of the day.

XOXO Scraplifting Challenge Pt 1

Another entry for the XOXO scraplift challenge. I am really enjoying these challenges, and I am hoping to get quite a few of them done in time.

This was a scraplift of Sarah Webb's LO.

He looked like such a young man when I took these, I think it was the haircut he got on the same day, but then he is growing up a little faster than I like. I wish I could freeze his age and looks at this moment, I fear of what is still too come.

Love the Multiples

Here is my entries for Stampendous Saturday Sketch, The Scrappiest challenge (even though I cannot win), Pencillines Sketch 191 Challenge and XOXO scralift "Zoa Barker" challenge.

I just love this page, I was so happy with it when I finished. It was taken at my oldest son's 8th birthday party, and he spent most of his time looking and tasting all the little leaves and bugs on the ground instead of playing with the other kids. He eventually made his way to the party.

Pure and Simple

I love doing the pages that look simple but take a bit of time. This page just came together for me. I brought the paper and it has been sitting there for 6 months or more, but no matter what I felt I just couldn't use it. Oh well the papers I gather always seem to be used in the end.

Something New to Share

I love taking family photo's and this was not bad a bad shot, but it took less that 10 minutes for them to not care and relax back into themselves. Unknowingly the camera was set to a 10 minute time delay to take the next lot of photos and I thought they would make a nice page for me.

Paper Request Completed

I was asked by a scrappingdo it for her friend if I could use the pink paisley "365 degrees" paper in a LO. I did it, however I did add a little Sassafras Lass paper into the mix, but I am happy with how it came out. I think I need to work on my writing technique though, I am not overly happy with the journalling writing on this page (but that's just me).

Been a little busy lately

I miss being able to do challenges at the moment, but I am learning new styles and techniques. I am currently working on an envelope mini album and a gorgeous butterfly album which I brought the design from following the paper trail. I just love her stuff.

I am also in the middle of creating my new project room. Its small, but it's all mine to with as I please. I just need to spend a bit of time in there setting it all up how I want it.

Well I will be back in a few days to show some of my new pages.

Hope to see you then.

Another Challenge Completed

Well I am on a roll at the moment, I can't seem to stop with the challenges.

This is a page on my youngest son, who just loves his bear. He only goes near him when he is in bed, and only if we play the "where oh where is Mr Bear" game.

I used a few simple techniques when putting this together, but I am not set on the LO yet. I think it needs something, but I am not quite sure what it is yet. I know it will come to me eventually.
